Amp Biasing / Tube replacement
$65
Tube amp biasing ensures you amp feeds the correct amount of current to your power tubes. Occasionally the bias needs to be adjusted as your amp ages. An optimal bias will ensure your amp is performing as intended. When it is time for new tubes you want to ensure your amp is running at optimal current with unmatched clarity and depth. This cost is for biasing only. You can supply your own tubes or you can purchase tubes from dc amp services.
General tube amp servicing
$125
Servicing tube amp is essential for maintaining its tone and reliability. Reconditioning potentiometers, jacks, switches, socket pins. Replacing failing filter capacitors and checking all mechanical connections. You want to ensure your tube amp is running as efficiently as possible. Regular maintenance will give you peace of mind and optimum tone. This cost is for labour only, any required parts extra.
Guitar / Bass amp troubleshooting and repairs
$65 per hr
Is your amp motor boating? Are you getting snap, crackle and pop? Does your amp just not sound as good as it did a few years ago? There are multiple reasons for your amp not sounding right.
