While tubes get the spotlight, the rest of the amp is just as critical. Vintage amps, in particular, may contain components that have drifted from their original values or are outright failing. A few telltale signs that your amp may need attention are reduced output volume or tonal clarity, intermittent signal loss and unusual hum, buzz or crackling sound.

I am located in North Vancouver and have reasonable turn a round time on repairs because I know what it is like to be without an inspiring amp.

I am able to source parts for your amp or you can supply me with replacement parts that you would like installed. You would be surprised by the number of times I am approached with an amp and replacement parts, only to find the problem was solved with basic amp maintenance.
